Description
This is a part-time position for 20 plus hours per week, mainly during the afterschool and evening timeslots Monday to Friday, some weekend work will be required for our large-scale events.
- Provide assistance in facilitating ARCA programs and activities
- Ensure that the appropriate preparation has been undertaken for the applicable program, including preparing the program location, snack, and any required supplies.
- Complete daily inventories for craft and grocery supplies.
For programming specifically related to children: Plan and prepare classroom setting; oversee safety and educational programs; supervise children; provide a supportive environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate and acceptable individual and group behaviors.
- Interact with community members and program participants; maintain open and cooperative communication with members, encouraging their involvement in the programs
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of ECE Level 1 (or equivalent experience) preferred!
