Responsibilities:
- Accurately input all employee information and cross-check information while correcting any discrepancies or errors in the payroll system.
- Assist in processing payroll as required.
- Update electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes, etc.
- Maintains confidential HR/payroll files and databases.
- Assists with other department duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
- Preference will be given to those with a post-secondary certificate in a related field such as office administration or payroll.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an office and/or data entry environment; previous payroll experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Criminal Record Check prior to the first day of work and dated no more than 3 months before the hire date.
