Description

The employees in this role are responsible for coordinating and delivering children's programming services at city public library branches.

They work under the supervision of the Branch Manager and with the support of other branch library staff.

Additionally, they assist in providing various public library services.

They actively contribute to the implementation of current information technology strategies and utilize these strategies in their work.

Their responsibilities include providing reference services, managing the circulation desk, and supporting overall library operations.

They report to the Branch Manager or their assigned representative.

They utilize the branch's available equipment and effectively utilize electronic information sources.

They also play a leadership role in the branch and contribute to the orientation and training of branch staff.

They interact with the public, make independent judgments, and demonstrate initiative.

In the absence of the Branch Manager, they work in a supervisory capacity alongside the Adult's Program Coordinator.
