Description
Job SummaryReporting to the Manager/Rehab Coordinator, the Outpatient Occupational Therapist is responsible for client assessment, treatment planning, organization, and delivery of therapy services within the framework of the interdisciplinary neuro rehab team. Caseload consists primarily of neurologically involved adult clients admitted to inpatient rehab and/or referred from the community, acute care, and inpatient rehab.
Qualifications
EducationBaccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy from a program which is recognized by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists; Must be licensed by the Saskatchewan College of Occupational Therapists and be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Requires certification for life support.
ExperienceExperience working with neurological client population an asset.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge and experience in movement analysis, handling skills, specialized seating, and treatment of clients with functionally based disability are assets.
